EMPLOYMENT

We are often looking for energetic experienced guides to work with us.  In the summer we hire guides to work in Colorado and Wyoming.  In the winter most of our work is in the Texas Hill Country and Mexico.  Several of our guides work in multiple locations.  Guides are expected to have minimum Wilderness First Aid and AMGA certifications are a plus.  To pursue employment please send an e-mail with a resume and a little information about yourself to james@owa.com

OWA runs the most comprehensive guide training and certification program out there, a totally new concept to prepare you for a career in Outdoor Education. We call it The Anvil our next class will be in the Fall of 2022. OWA also has on the job training opportunities for outdoor educators looking to expand their guiding resume.

-Rock climbing instructors, guides and interns 2021-2022 Winter season in Austin Texas to work primarily at Enchanted rock. For climbing guide employment in Texas (yes there are many Texas climbing adventures) email info@owa.com

-Writers for climbing related articles (paid per article)

-Mountain bike instructors and guides, preference giving to IMBA certified instructors.

-Summer program guides, counselors and staff in training for Colorado and Wyoming summer camps (13-17 yr olds). Pay dependent on experience and certifications. Preference for people with backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking experience. Taking names for the waiting list Summer 2022

-CIT- Counselor in training positions for 17 yr olds in CO and WY. For summer 2022
