Backcountry Adventure Trips
We have been leading groups and individuals into some of the most spectacular areas in the world for over twenty years and have found that there is a place and a way for virtually everyone to enjoy the wild world!. We can fully outfit individuals or groups of up to 50 (of course we would break the group up into smaller trail teams of 8-10, since we strictly adhere to minimum impact backcountry techniques!) and take care of all the travel, logistical, equipment, route finding and other headaches which often accompany trips into unfamiliar territory. Our guides can also help you get the most out of your experience with their input of trail techniques, local lore, and by sharing their favorite out of the way spots with you.

Backcountry trips can be customized to meet your needs including length and difficulty, and in many areas we can provide porters or pack animals to lighten your load!

Colorado Lost Creek Wilderness, Colorado Trail, Park Range, Puma Hills, Mosquito Range
Wyoming Wind River Range, Yellowstone National Park
Mexico Copper Canyon

Private Hill Country Ranches

Cordillera Real, Isla del Sol, Choro Trail

Costs vary depending on number of people and particular needs. Contact us with your ideas and we'll provide a quote. OWA can provide backpacks, sleeping bags, tents and cooking gear.
