Salle Hentzell has food ingrained in her blood from growing up in a family that owned and operated numerous restaurants, cafes and concession stands in southern Idaho. She escapes each winter to hit the snowy mountain ranges of Idaho, Utah, and Colorado; and, as a member of the national ski patrol as well as snowboard instructor, she enjoys teaching and encouraging people to push thier limits and enjoy life while staying safe. In 2007, Salle married Dale Hentzell, and thier shared love of the outdoors took them to the east coast to bravely hike 1400 miles of the Appalachian Trail. Along the way, a stray puppy joined thier adventure, and after much debate, was named Ginny (being that they were in Virginia), and became part of the family. Salle and Dale are now cohorts in the wilderness, guiding and cooking for OWA clients.
