Stemming in the dihedral

 

  • Day 1 –Arrive or meet at Denver International Airport; transfer to Shelf Road (near Canon City) and do some climbing in the area. We overnight near the Crag at Shelf road.
  • Day 2 — Today we climb at Shelf road in the morning and then swim in the afternoon, we camp at Shelf road aagin
  • Day 3 – -We leave Shelf road after a few hours of early morning climbing at transfer to climb at Valley of the Chickens in the Tarryall Valley, sometimes also called Badger flats, we camp near the base of the crag
  • Day 4–Today we climb at Valley of the Chickens again in the morning and then move to Feral Petunia for the afternoon with a quick dip in the river near Spruce Grove campground to cool off, we camp again near the base of Valley of the Chickens.
  • Day 5–We spend the day climbing in 11 Mile canyon. We climb the at 11 mile dome. We have an afternoon opportunity to cool off in the river. We camp at 11 Mile Canyon.
  • Day 6–Today we climb the multi pitch routes at 11 mile canyon and camp again at 11 Mile.
  • Day 7– We have an early breakfast and final packing before departing early to Denver to the airport.
