Enchanted Rock is a magical place for a number of outdoor activities. You can hike, backpack, camp, rock climb, picnic, bird, study nature, and stargaze. Directions:
The park is 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965, or from Llano, take State Highway 16 for 14 miles south and then go west on Ranch Road 965.
Hours
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Office Hours
Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Busy Season
September through May.
Entrance Fees
- Adult: $7 Daily
- Child 12 Years and Under: Free
Park Closures
They limit the number of people in the park to protect its fragile resources. When parking lots are full, the park will close until spaces open up. This can happen September through May, sometimes as early as 11 a.m.
